We stopped by while passing through on a road trip, and we were extremely satisfied with the experience!! The staff at the counter were so delightful and friendly. The chips + sala and guac were far better than average, which is rare. Tacos amazing, and so many beautiful sauces of all colors!! My favorite taco was the surf and turf. Highly recommended!!
I went during lunch time so of course there was a line but they they took our orders pretty quickly and got our food fast too. I ordered the lunch special 2 tacos of your choice with chips and salsa for 12 dollars. I got the Surf and Turf and the Baja taco with Jarritos grapefruit soda. I like both tacos equally so I couldn't tell you which one was better. But I did try all the salsas and the light green one is the best. The habanero or bright yellow one is spicy! I didn't like the flavor not even because it was hot it just didn't taste good and I love spicy food. Anyways the environment was nice I liked the way everything was set up.
Place looks new, clean, and modern. Ordered the lunch special that came with two tacos, chips, and salsa. For a drink got the hibiscus tea. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas. Inside the place is nicely decorated. Food came out in short time and was fresh and hot. The each taco came in two corn tortillas and were loaded. Eating the tacos were just a little bit messy because each one was stuffed fully. The chips and salsa were also delicious. The sweet hibiscus tea had a dark reddish purple color and also had a good deep flavor. I very much enjoyed eating here. ❤️
Tacos, nachos, beers and Bros. It don't get more locally delicious and good for the soul. Large portions served hot and fresh. Hearty tacos that will actually fill you up. And the tortilla chips and dips are exceptional. OKC soul food at it's finest! Outside there's a large playground with a concrete wall for the kiddos to play. No wonder this place is a community hub for young families. Great food and great people. MUCHAS GRACIAS!
Local tip: You can buy a beer from The Big Friendly across the way and drink it with your tacos. Just remember to return the glass! 🥂
Not sure why it took me so long to eat at Taco Nation. It is definitely a great spot. Comfortable interior, fun exterior patio and play area for the kids. Crispy tortilla chips and a creamy queso. The tacos had plenty of flavor and the tortillas were very good. Great staff who are super friendly and helpful. This is definitely a perfect spot for families to come relax and enjoy good food. I will be back often. Enjoy!
This place is very hip, modern and expensive, everything I am not, jajaja. I didn't feel cool enough to be there. However, the Menu was simple and had plenty of options. Although they didn't have the ancho lime chicken taco I wanted to try. I enjoyed the tacos I did get (Surf n Turf and Baja Beef). The Nachos were really tasty and filling. The chips were home made, delicious and crunchy, the salsa had good flavor and then there were all kinds of salsas for everyone to enjoy on their tacos.
Service was great, except the counter girl answered her phone in the middle of us ordering and leaned over to talk to her phone on the counter and was very unprofessional.
Tried Taco 🌮 Nation for the first time and we will definitely be going again. Let me start on this SEASONING 🧂 of the tacos… 🔥🔥🔥‼️Everything we ate was so well made from the tacos to the cocktails 🍹! I tried the Rolled chicken taco special. It was very good and very filling. Hubby tried the shrimp taco and barbacoa (spell ✔️) taco. Again.. very flavorful. He had the Beachfront margarita and I had the Sweet & Simple margarita. Recommend either. They had inside and outside seating available and one of the servers will bring your food to your table. Due to them hiring as early as 14 years old, they couldn’t bring us our cocktails so we grabbed those ourselves but totally commend them for hiring at 14‼️No full service bar but several alcoholic and non alcoholic beverage choices. Gender neutral bathrooms as well. If going on Tuesday, try getting there before 6pm to beat the evening rush. All in all… great experience ✨🙌🏾
Love this place, the food never disappoints. Awesome way to spend a summer Friday night, great family atmosphere!
